J.KIM was founded by fashion designer Jenia Kim who comes from a family of Korean emigrants from Uzbekistan. Kim’s curiosity for her rich past has led her to explore Korean and Uzbek culture in her clothes. She’s themed her collections around minimalist North Korean uniforms and the outerwear of female Uzbek street vendors.
